They both live on opposite sides of the pond and yet have managed to maintain a relationship during a pandemic, not only this, but they also both are studying/working in sectors that during the pandemic are incredibly challenging (social work and theatre nurse).

Ok so I could have chatted to and photographed this little lady all day, every day. While we hung out this lady made me feel like we were best friends! She chatted away about hunting for animals in the woods. I was told to keep my eye out for an elephant, obviously. I heard all about the recent antics at nursery which involved seeing if a bouncy ball would fit up her nose (I was told not to worry as it was a sparkly ball!) which also meant she had a trip to the local hospital and they gave her a new purple teddy. We discussed her love for Elsa and Anna at length and even saw her sing and re-enact ‘Into the unknown’ while climbing a tree. Seriously I had the best time.

Ah the Clarks! These guys are literally the best, a rare find, and I am privileged to be counted among their friends! Their home has always been like a second home to me and my family (well prior to this silly Covid anyway). We have been friends for about 17 years. Simon, 16 years ago, even introduced me to my husband in Keynes car park at the University of Kent (romantic I know!).

Well this was a crazy fun first. I got to be an undercover photographer for 20 minutes!
I pretended to peruse the beautiful kitchen garden at The Pig in Bridge while keeping an eye out for the arrival of Jay and Sarah. I was buzzing with nervous excitement, hoping that Sarah wouldn’t get suspicious of me. Sarah was so wonderfully absorbed in the moment that she didn’t even notice I was there capturing their memories for a good 5 minutes.
