My Story
As far back as I can remember I have enjoyed taking pictures but in January 2011 I was flung into the wonderfully crazy world of motherhood and it is this experience that has accelerated my love of family photography.
In January 2011 I was flung into the wonderfully crazy world of motherhood. Becoming a mum made me not want to miss a moment of their fleeting little childhoods so my love of capturing memories became a true addiction. Being invited into other families worlds to capture their memories means I can confidently say I LOVE MY JOB.
Really hard to think what else to tell you about me so thought I would share some random facts:
I’m in my late thirties and am about 60% grey. I started going grey when I was in my teens but it took me until I was 34 to embrace it.
I can’t get enough of doing anything creative given the chance.
I am someone who naturally is always thinking about the next thing but I find photos are a great way to help me reflect on life remembering the ups and the downs.
On the eve of each of my children’s birthdays my husband and I sit up late into the night looking back at photos of our children growing up.
I would not call myself a runner and definitely not go as far as saying I enjoy running but when I finish a run I feel so glad I put those trainers on and left the house.
Ever since I have been capturing memories for other families whenever my amazing customers let me know they love their pictures I do a little dance and a high pitched squeal in my head. If you’d like to read some of these very kind words do hop on over to my kind words page.
