It was such a treat to get to hang out with these guys (even more so than normal because I’m an extrovert and I have a family of 6!), just so relaxed, so much fun, lots of catching up (I’ve had the joy of capturing some memories for these guys before), plenty of cheekiness from Arlo and some beautiful coy smiles from Farley. A really lovely morning.

So this beautiful family have been so wonderfully patient as they were bought a voucher as a gift (great gift idea!) but knew they’d have to wait until my baby was at least 6 months old but then lockdown began. However, last weekend we finally got to spend time together and actually it worked out perfectly as their little man was now nearly 9 months old and full of so much glorious personality! We hung out in their home capturing memories of their fabulous everyday, playtime, garden fun, bath time…so many smiles and here are a few of my favourites….

Well how is everyone? I’ll be honest that although my emotions have been very mixed with my kiddies going back to school after such a long time at home, overall, I’m so very grateful that some sort of normal (although a new normal) has begun. An normal for them to get to see their friends again and a chance for me to get a little bit of head space (although my head can still be pretty fuzzy at times as No.4 still isn’t a fan of sleeping the monkey).

What better gift for a 40th birthday present that some special family memories wondering around a beautiful nature reserve (woodland, lakes, boardwalks, trees to climb….whats not to love). We had the best morning together. I met the family at their home and we had some fun on the swings before we strolled round to Gunpowder Oare Works Country park in Faversham.

Wowzers its been a while! 12 weeks of only photographing my crazy crew, our lovely neighbours or the odd friend in the field behind our house over the fence. Such strange times eh. As both an extrovert and people person I have loved/needed the odd social distance walk, cup of tea outside with friends to maintain some sanity but being a family of 6 we haven’t been able to see anyone together. So getting to hang out the Knights the other week was just such a blessing and a joy.
Such a special couple of hours chatting away to these guys while they were just their usual wonderful selves. Our time was just full of sunshine, orchards, laughter, little chats, stick fights, frisbee, piggy backs and hugs (sadly I couldn’t have any).
Hope you enjoy having a peruse through my favourites…
