Well how is everyone? I’ll be honest that although my emotions have been very mixed with my kiddies going back to school after such a long time at home, overall, I’m so very grateful that some sort of normal (although a new normal) has begun. An normal for them to get to see their friends again and a chance for me to get a little bit of head space (although my head can still be pretty fuzzy at times as No.4 still isn’t a fan of sleeping the monkey).
I have tried to continue to capture our slightly crazy and hectic every day in amongst what felt like preparing snacks 42 times a day over the last 5 months. So here’s part ii of our lockdown memories. Hanging out at home, 2 metres, then 1, seeing only us six for many many weeks to seeing family and friends, starting lockdown with what seemed like a newborn to lockdown easing with our chubby, finger sucking 9 month old……
(please don’t let these smiley faces fool you into thinking my kiddies are always this cheery, it’s just harder to capture the tantrums and tears when you are asking one to sit on the stairs, while stopping another eating lego)
