May Wedding | Lukas and Chantelle
Jayne Nottage
On 27th May I had a photography first, I shot my first wedding.
Chantelle and Lukas were the beautiful couple who asked if I would capture their magical day, and oh what a day it was. For those of you who know them you do not need me to say, but for those who don’t, these guys are two very selfless people who compliment each other perfectly and I couldn't have felt more privileged to be capturing their day as it unfolded.
The service was held at The Synagogue, a lovely building hidden away in the centre of Canterbury. The scriptures chosen, poems read and the address were so so very personal. The sun shone in all it's glory meaning there was many a hug and congratulations accompanied by nibbles and drinks outside on the lawn. I then whisked Chantelle and Lukas off to both the Kent countryside and seaside to have some photos of just the two of them before a heart warming reception held at JoJo's in Tankerton. The evening ended with a definite first for me (although I am so very much hoping it won't be the last!), a silent disco! I laughed so much my cheeks hurt. Basically you all wear head phones and dance and sing along but those without headphones cannot hear the music they can simply see people leaping around and singing (mainly) very out of tune! Hilarious!
I so hope you enjoy having a look through a few of my favourites from the day when family and friends celebrated the brand new Mr and Mrs Bain...
