This special family planned a weekend away for their Mums 90th birthday, but very sadly she passed away. However, the family felt there was no better way to celebrate the life of their Mum/Gran/Great Gran than to get the whole family together and spend a few days remembering all the best bits. This was no mean feat as the family are flung far and wide, driving down from Scotland and flying over from the States.
They spent the weekend together in a beautiful holiday home in Waltham, Kent. I just adored my time with them all. I laughed so hard watching family sports day including; some cheeky rule breaking in the sack races, ingenious adaptation of the egg and spoon by one little lady and everyone giving their all like they were aiming for a gold medal at the Olympics. We also had a little lesson in scones, there were water fights, ball games and many many smiles. Family perfection!
