My favourites popped into a blog

I chose my favourites from my family sessions and events and put them into this easy to view format so you can not just see the odd image from a session but a nice big selection.

A Whole Year Old | Kent Family Photographer

Jayne Nottage

How, just how is he a whole year?! We truly couldn’t have had a more perfect addition to our family (obviously nothing to do with the fact that I finally managed to have a small person with brown hair!).

This little fella bowls us all over daily with how amazing he is. I mean look at that little face and those fingers (I know I’m completely bias!). I particularly love seeing how much the older three just love him and how he adores them too, makes my heart explode.

Don’t get me wrong there are definitely bits that are flipping hard and have made the various levels of lockdown pretty intense. Obviously there’s the usual lack of sleep, this one went all out with not wanting to put his head on the pillow for too long, there were many (many!) days you’d find me half asleep with my face in a cold cup of tea. Also his love of all cupboards, opening and slamming doors as well as emptying the entire contents. I still don’t think I have recovered from the homeschooling trauma of LD1. Changing nappies, breastfeeding and waking every two hours in the night does not make for the cheeriest most patient teacher!

It was sad we couldn’t have family and friends round to celebrate with copious amounts of tea and cake but we still had a really special time celebrating all 365 days of this little Squish. We started with pancakes, managed a walk, cake, presents, and we even went all retro and played the flour game with the older three…
