What better way to celebrate a birthday than spending a weekend away with your children and grandchildren. John and Tricia hired a beautiful holiday home for the weekend in the quaint village of Waltham, just outside of Canterbury. When your family is spread far and wide (as far as Texas, USA) Tricia of course wanted to make the most of having all her family under one roof and asked me to capture some special memories.

We were crazy blessed by a break in the rather rainy weather which meant we had a relaxing time outside in the garden enjoying the slightly odd horse that liked to eat the fence, the kids loved the uncle fair ground rides (aka being swung round by your ankles!), and mainly family just loving being around family.
