Being asked to photograph newborns in Kent is a wonderful and precious thing that I do not take for granted. You are welcomed into a family's brand new world, when everything is magical and a little bit hazy from lack of sleep.
As you probably have seen I got to capture this family while they were a three and to see them as a family of four warmed my heart, Ava Grace is an amazing addition.
Anna and Steve made the early days look like a sinch, not a yawn in sight. It was a such a relaxed session full of the norms of family life with a toddler and a newborn. We had the midwife pop in for an unexpected visit, snack times, rough and tumbles, milk time, Ava Grace was obviously busy doing lots of growing so liked feeding (alot) and Ava even got to have her first bath, although she wasn't keen, bless her, and was grateful for another feed and a swaddle after.
